SHREVEPORTTIMES.COM WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 15, 2017 9A WILLS SUCCESSIONS SETTLE PLANNING SERVICES 742-5513 -1 00 06 69 53 6 BLANCHARD, LA Ted Bostwick, 90, a lifelong resident of Blanchard, Louisiana, passed away on November 11, 2017 after a lengthy illness. He died at home surrounded by family and loved ones. Ted was born on February 5, 1927 to Obie Osborn Bostwick and Mae Taylor Bostwick of Blanchard. He graduated Fair Park High School in 1944 and promptly enlisted in the US Navy where he served in the South Pacific thru the end of World War II. Upon honorable discharge, he attended North- western State University on a Football scholarship.

He returned to Blanchard to assist his ill father in managing the family farm and timber business. Ted was elected first Town Marshall and Constable. Later he served as Chief of Police for 18 years. He worked at Riley Beards for 20 years as a welder. He was a community leader and served in positions of several local organizations such as the Blanchard Athletic Club, Boy Scouts of Amer- ica and Kiwanis Club.

He and close friend, Barrett Hudson, were the driving force behind the creation of the of First Baptist Church of Blanchard and faithfully tended it for years. An exceptionally fit man, Ted lived a healthy, robust life until his final decade. Married to Sarah Morris Bostwick for 68 years, he was deeply in love with her until his final breath. He cherished his children and grandchildren. Ted loved watching his LSU Tiger Football and Baseball teams, especially with family members.

He often said he never expected to live this long and was grateful for the friends and experiences he has had over his 90 years. He left this earth with Christian courage, eager to meet his Maker, and certain of his salvation in his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, Obie and Mae Bostwick, Brother, Robert Darrell Bostwick and Daughter, Christi Kay Bostwick. He is survived by his Wife, Sarah Bostwick, Daughter, Vicki Bostwick, Son and Daughter-in-Law, Terry and Debbie Bostwick, Grandsons, Stuart and Spencer Bostwick, Brother, Frank Taylor Bostwick and wife Louise, Sister, Ouida Bostwick Tippett, and adopted Janet Tippett and Husband Buzz. Special thank you to the Snell, Latsos, Permenter, Tippett, and Culbert- son Families and Betty Cline for years of support and encouragement.

The family wants to acknowledge honorary family members, Melvin Pierre and Jackie Savannah for their compassionate care to Ted during his last years of life. Gratitude to Blanchard Fire District One for their rapid response to the many calls made on behalf; and the constant ministry and sup- port from Trinity Heights Baptist and First Baptist Church of Blanchard. Finally, thank you to Southern Care Hospice, Nurse, Belinda Montgomery and Caregiver Sheila Russell. Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church of Blanchard at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, Nov 15th, followed by Services at 11:00 AM. Burial service will follow at Blanchard Memorial Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Fire Chief Dan Cotten, Police Chief Gary Presswood, Former Mayor-Larry Permenter, Sonny Snell, Richard Latsos, Kenneth Culbertson, Melvin Pierre and Buzz Tippett. Officiating Funeral Services: Dr. James Hill, Reverend Dale Sauls and Reverend Calep Lewis. Ted Clark Bostwick SHREVEPORT Earl Joseph Belanger was born March 31, 1936 in the Houma, LA area. His parents were Eunice and Earl Belanger.

He went to be with his Lord November 12, 2017 in Shreveport, LA. Mr. Belanger was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and had served in the Navy. He loved classic cars and trains and was an Antique Auto Club Member.

Surviving Mr. Belanger is his wife of 55 years, Nazel Mary Belanger; Sons, Richard Belanger and Michael Belanger and wife Tracey; Grandchil- dren, Dylan and Morgan Belanger; a brother, Terry Belanger; and other relatives and friends. A service honoring the life of Earl Joseph Belanger will be held Thursday, November 16, 2017, 10:00 AM at the graveside in Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery, Shreveport, LA. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, November 15, from 5 until 7 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. The family would like to thank Heritage Manor Stratmore staff and the staff of the Hos- pital for their excellent care.

Earl Joseph Belanger SHREVEPORT, LA Memorial services for Loree Owen, 55, will be held at Grace United Methodist Church in Shreveport, LA on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will be at 5:30 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Officiating will be Rev- erend Patricia McBride with Reverend Jessica Lowe assisting. Loree was born in Shreveport, LA to Robert Keith Sims and Charlotte Marie Munsell Sims on December 3, 1961 and left to be with her Lord and Savior on November 12, 2017.

She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother who will be truly missed. Loree was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Donna Marie Wilson. Left to cherish her beautiful memories are her beloved husband of 34 years, Randy Owen; son, Jade Sims and spouse Adrianne Maull; daughters, Amber Warner and husband Michael, Carri Benetrix and husband Chris, Jenifer Owen and husband Colt Avery, Kelly Tang and husband Peter; grandchildren, Dixie Riser, Ashlee Warner, Zoe Warner, Grace Warner, Rosalie Corbett, Allana Garcia, Kaylee Benetrix, Nicholas Foy, Nathaniel Tang, Parker Tang, William Tang, Tiffany Tang; great-grandson, Jaxon Riser; nephew, Christopher Wilson and wife Juliann; niece, Cassie Wilson and Aunt Wanda Sheppard. Vis- itation will be held at Rose-Neath South- side Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Claude Henry Bagley, Jr. GRAND CANE Wil- liam Clinton Foster passed away sud- denly on Monday, No- vember 13, 2017 at his home in Grand Cane, Louisiana. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Carolyn B.

Foster; his son, William Clinton Foster Jr. and wife Darla, his step-sons; William Kevin Bryant and wife Laurie, Chris Foster and wife Laura, Cordell Coleman, Wayne Foster and family friend Kelli Farrell and numerous beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren. Born on June 15, 1941, Billy was preceded in death by his parents Isaac Clinton Foster and Viv- ian McDermitt Foster, and his daughter, Ramona Dean Foster. Billy was raised in Talulah, Louisiana where he went to Talulah, High School. He then attended Northeast Louisiana University where he was named an All-American football player and later drafted by the Houston Oilers.

Billy then moved to Shreveport-Bossier City, Louisiana where he pro- ceeded to raise his family and spend the majority of his life while pursuing a successful career in sales. Billy had a passion for his family, was an avid hunter and enjoyed rodeoing in his younger years. He was a devout Christian and was a member of Cypress Baptist Church and then Airline Baptist Church, where he showcased his love of children by teaching Sunday School for many years prior to moving to Grand Cane. Visitation will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home in Haughton on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 from 5pm- 7pm. Funeral Services will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home in Haughton on Thurs- day, November 16, 2017 at 2pm with burial im- mediately following.

Pallbearers will be Paul Jackson, Mark Mathews, Mark Gilliam, Bobby Leflett, Wade Rich, Steve Taylor, Kevin Duck, Lou Chandler. Honorary Pall- bearers will be Kenny Covington, Mack Powell, Raymond Lyles, C.A.Lowe, John Holt and all of numerous friends and fellow hunters. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations be made to St. Research Hospital. Billy Foster SHREVEPORT, LA Graveside services for Edwin Joe Jenkins, 75, will be held at 1:00 p.m.

on Friday, November 17, 2017 at Forest Park East. Visitation with the family will be held at 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Edwin was born on Au- gust 18, 1942 in Minden, LA. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 13, 2017.

He graduated from Byrd High School and from then attended Marion Military Institute and LSU. Eddie graduated from SMU School of Banking. He worked for several years at Pioneer Bank and Trust. After that he became the proprietor of the Cub Lounge and held several oil and gas interests. He held life time memberships in Ducks Unlimited and Quail Unlimited.

Eddie enjoyed the outdoors and had many fond memo- ries with friends at The Big Lake Duck Club, Agua Nueva and The Ranch in Coleman, Texas. Edwin was preceded his in death by his parents, Doris Toms Jenkins and Stewart Robson Jenkins. Left to cherish his memories are his son, Edwin Robson Jenkins and wife Heather Berthelot Jen- kins; grandchildren, Camille Jenkins Glotz and Edwin Robson Jenkins, Jr. Honoring him as pallbearers will be Edwin Robson Jenkins, Richard H. Wilcox, Roger Wilbanks, Allen Murphy, Tuck Ingersoll, Tobin Grigsby, Stewart Madison and Kevin Briley.
