ANNOUNCEMENTS OBITUARIES Mr. Lee A. Childs BOSSIER CITY, LA Services for Mr. Lee A. Childs, 51, will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, January 29, 1994 at the Mott Assembly of God in Plain Dealing, La.

Officiating will be Rev. J. M. Cason, retired pastor emeritus of Glad Tidings Assembly of God. Burial will be in Stateline Cemetery in Springhill, La.

Visitation will be at Wellman Funeral Home from 10 a.m. till 8 p.m. Friday, Mr. Childs died Wednesday, January 26, 1994 at the Bossier Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was born in Colorado and was a resident of Bossier City for 21 years.

Mr. Childs was a machinist and a member of the Assembly of God Church. He is survived by his wife, Nancy G. Childs of Bossier City; three daughters, Billie Jo Thornton of Benton, Donna Darlene Villard of Cotton Valley, La. and Tina Rena Free of Bossier City; his mother.

Edith Childs of Springhill, six grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Hammontree of Bradley, Wanda Gillis of Springhill, La. and Izora Nicks of Pueblo, Colo. and two brothers, Allen Merritt of Springhill, La. and Charlie Childs, Jr. of Melbourne, Fla.

Burial will be at Holley Spring Cemetery. Mrs. Holley was a lifelong resident of Red River Parish. She was owner and operator of the Holley House until her retirement. She was a Lioness and a member of the XYZ Club and member of the First United Methodist Church in Coushatta.

She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph L. and Elizabeth (Lizzie) Loftin McWilliams; her husband of 58 years L.B. Rose-Neath Funeral Home Coushatta Chapel, 932-4047 Eugene B. Stigall SHREVEPORT, LA Mr. Eugene B. Stigall, 68, died Monday, January 24, 1994 at the VA Hospital in Shreveport after a lengthy illness.

Mr. Stigall, a Shreveport resident for 40 years, served in the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, JoNell; his son, E. B.

Stigall, daughters, Carolyn and Diane and two sisters, Elinor Bondurant and Marjorie Nielson. Mr. Stigall will be missed by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Because of his expressed wish to donate his body to science, Mr. Stigall will be remembered by friends and family in a special memorial service at a later date.

Mrs. Ruby Luther BOSSIER CITY, LA Graveside services for Mrs. Ruby Luther, 79, will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, January 28, 1994 at Rose-Neath Cemetery. Officiating will be Mr. Doyle Maynard.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon Friday, January 28, 1994 at the Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel. She died January 26, 1994 at her residence. Survivors include two daughters, Frances Stennett and her husband Elbert of Chesapeake, VA, Jeannie Allen and her husband Bill of Bossier City, six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the Schumpert Hospice Nurses and Staff.

She had been a resident of Princeton for the past 23 yrs. Mrs. Kulbeth was retired from the Bossier Parish School Board with 23 yrs. as a school bus driver and was a member of the Retired School Bus Drivers Club. She is preceded in death by her husband, A.L.

Kulbeth. Mrs. Kulbeth is survived by two daughters, Billie Piper and husband Ralph of Princeton and Martha Nell Adams and husband Richard of Ft. Katie Nichols Moon died at 2:20 p.m., Thursday, January 27, 1994 at Heritage Manor South Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. Moon was a native of Texarkana, Tx and a resident of Shreveport most of her life. She was a homemaker and a was a member of the Brookwood Baptist Church, charter member of the Best Club, and an active member of the Believers Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd N. Moon.

She is survived by a son, Lloyd N. Moon, Jr. and wife, Nancy of Baton Rouge, LA; daughter Dawn (Cookie) Moon Poston and husband Robert of Shreveport, LA; six grandchildren, Ryan, Sheryl and Kristin Moon, Scott and Rick Poston, Aimee Owen and husband Mark; one sister, Mrs. J.C. Gilcrease died Tuesday, January 25, 1994 in Hobbs, New Mexico. He was born April 28, 1927 in Natchitoches, La. He married Myrtis Sims, May 28, 1948 in Robeline, La. They moved to Hobbs in 1955 and went to work in the oilfields. He retired from Agua, Inc.

in 1989, at the age of 62. He was a member of Betvue Baptist Church. He was an outdoors man who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his spouse, Myrtis Pamela Gilcrease; sons, Samuel R. Gilcrease, Tommy Gilcrease, Larry Ivan Gilcrease and Terry Delane Gilcrease of Hobbs; daughters, Gloria Jernigan of Lovington, NM and Dianna Caudill of Hobbs; one brother, Olive Jourdan of Kermit, TX; three sisters, Homarie Rond and Lee White of Hobbs, Leomie Gass of Alexandria, ten grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
