Tuesday July 10 at Forest Park Cemetery. The Rev. Warren Blakeman, of Broadmoor United Methodist Church, where Mr. Brownlee was a member, will officiate. Plans under direction of Osborn Funeral Home.

Mr. Brownlee died Sunday July 8, 1984, at his residence after a lengthy Illness. He was a native of Calhoun, La. and. moved to Shreveport In 1938, where he was well respected as a former GMC truck dealer.

He was the only surviving child of the late Mary Elizabeth "Lizzy" Bryan and Ham-mett A. Brownlee, of Calhoun. He Is survived by three children, John S. Brownlee of Los Angeles, Joy B. Brueckner and Gary N.

Brownlee, of Shreveport; three grandchildren, Michelle L. Day, Robert D. Roth and Cory E. Brownlee, of Shreveport; a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers: Ray L.

Herrlngton, Virgil Turnley, Dan Goodwin, Paul Mullen, Will Woods and Biff Mullen. Catherine Davidson Clinton SHREVEPORT Services for Mrs. Catherine Davidson Clinton, 67, of Shreveport, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday July 10 at the Providence Baptist Church, where she was a member. The Rev.

Clinton died at 12: 10 p.m. Sunday July 8, 1984, at Schumpert Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was born in Springridge, La. and was a lifelong resident of Shreveport. Mrs.

Clinton was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene F. Clinton. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Bobbie Oliveras, and two granddaughters, Kathy and Katie Oliveras, of Springridge; four sisters, Maude Prater and Julia Johns, of Springridge, Edna Selman of Gladewater, Texas and Mary Wilson of Shreveport; three brothers, Alver Davidson of Shreveport, Rov Davidson of Lufkin, Texas and Jack Davidson of Pleasant Hill, La. He lived in Hope, Ark. until 1919, when he came to Honfer, La.

to accept a job in the Homer National Bank. He operated a branch of Homer National 12 vears, until it closed during the depression. In 1933 he returned to Homer National Bank, where he held numerous positions until his retirement as president in 1965. He served on the board of directors of Homer National Bank from 1927 until 1978, serving as president of the board from 1975 to 1978. He was a longtime member of the Athens Baptist Church, the Athens and Homer Masonic Lodges and of the American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Elsa Knighten Middlebrook of Athens; two daughters. Sue Ann Mansfield of Austin, Texas and Ruby jane Bailey of San Antonio, Texas; one sister, Mrs. J.E. Berry of El Dorado, six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be grandsons.

Crain was a retired sales manager for International Paper Bagpack Division. He served in the U.S. Marines for nine years during the Korean Conflict and World War II. He was a past trustee of the Elks Lodge In Westwood, N.J. He is survived by his wife, Mrs.

Harriet M. Crain of Hot Springs Village; one daughter, Mrs. Linda Buckner of Jacksonville, one son, Rev. Martin Crain of Acton, Mass. two sisters, Mrs.

Cassyle Price and Mrs. Carolyn Eason, of Shreveport; and four grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Earl Gaar, Jack Gaar, Billy Kidd, Marvin Crain, M.B. Childress and Ira Reeves.
