Adcock, 48, a San Angelo, resident and a former Shreveporter, died Thursday in San Angelo hospital after a sudden ilIness. A native of Red River Parish, Mr. Adcock lived in Shreveport for 15 years before moving to San Angelo three years ago.

He was a realtor and a Presbyterian. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Johnson Funeral Home of San Angelo and burial will be in San Angelo. Mr. Adcock is survived by his widow, Mrs.

Lydale B. Adcock of San Angelo; six sisters, Mrs. Eunie Polan of Irving, Mrs. Nina Bennett of New Orleans, Mrs. Bess Talbert of Florida, Mary Giddens of Ringgold and Mrs.

Eugenia Pickett and Mrs. Jewel Curry, both of Doyline; and three brothers, George Adcock and Sam Adcock, both of Shreveport and Elbert Adcock of Doyline. G. L. Alexander Funeral services for George Leo Alexander, 56, of 3239 Penick St.

will' be held at 1 p.m. today in the Marshall Street Chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home. Mr. Alexander died at 8:30 a.m. Thursday in Highland Hospital after a long illness.

The Dubberly native had been a resident of Shreveport since 1948. He was a veteran World War II, and a member of Lakeshore Baptist Church and the Amalgamated Transit Union. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Brenda Rambin of Saugus, two brothers, Glenn Alexander of Carthage, and William Lloyd Alexander of Shreveport; a sister, Mrs. Lola Hodges of Baton Rouge; and two grandchildren.

Officiating for the services will be the Rev. Bill Stowell, pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church. Burial will be in Forest Park West Cemetery. Pallbearers will be William Herron, Don Reeves, David Alexander, Randy Alexander, Glenn Wayne Alexander, James Hodges, Charles and Dalton Hodges. David W.

Wall Sr. Funeral services for David William Wall, 29, of 245 Robinson Place, will be held 2:30 p.m. today in the Rose-Neath Funeral Home Street Chapel. The Rev. Billy Shaw, pastor of Woodlawn Baptist Church, will officiate.

Burial will be in Good Exchange Cemetery, McLeod, Tex. Mr. Wall was killed Thursday night in a shooting outside Chubbies Lounge, Hwy. 80 East, Bossier City. A native of Vivian, he had lived in Shreveport 14 years.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie D. Wall Sr. of Shreveport; three daughters, Rhonda Renee Wall, Mhonda Kay Wall and Kimberley Ann Wall, all of Shreveport; two sisters, Debra Kay Wall of Shreveport and Mrs.

Norma Jean Lovett of Overton, and one brother, Charlie D. Wall Jr. of Houston, Tex. Mrs. Allie Shadions Mrs.

Allie Y. Shadions, 79, of Shreveport died at 5:10 p.m. Friday at Virginia Hall Nursing Home after a long ilIness. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Mt.

Zion Cemetery, DeBerry, with the Rev. W. P. Mears, officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Osborn Funeral Home.

A native of Corrigan, Mrs. Shadions had been a Shreveport resident for 50 years. She was a member of Blanchard Baptist Church. Survivors include three brothers, R. R.

Elizabeth Garner Richard of Monroe, member of a prominent southern family, died Friday in Schumpert Medical Center in Shreveport from congestive heart failure. Mrs. Richard, the wife of Ernest C. Richard, suffered a heart attack several months ago. She was taken to Schumpert so she could be near her daughter, Mrs.

Caroline R. McLean, who lives in Shreveport. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday in Grace Episcopalian Church with the Rev. W.

Bradley Trimble officiating. Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home. Mrs. Richard was born in Springfield, on Feb. 2, 1902 and was married to Richard in Miami, March 8, 1924.

She was educated at Springfield High School, Ward- Belmont College, Nashville, and at Miss McDonald's in New York City. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, where she was in the choir and taught a Sunday school class; a member of the Lotus Club for a number of years, and of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was active in music and study club work in the Twin Cities. Mrs. Richard's paternal ancestors were prominent in the field of law and government in Tennessee.

Her father, John Ewing Garner, an attorney, was mayor of Springfield, and president of the Springfield Woolen Mills. Her mother, the late Caroline Logan Garner, was the daughter of the late I. D. VanLogan, owner of Hardtimes Plantation on which is now located the Bayou DeSiard Country Club and golf course. Besides her husband and daughter, Mrs.

Richard is survived by three grandchildren, Ralph W. McLean, Monroe; Elizabeth Garner McLean, a student at LSU; and John Hardin McLean, Shreveport. Pallbearers will be T. 0. Bancroft Speed Bancroft, Durwood Cann, Billy Edmondson, Hillyer Speek Lamkin, Armand McHenry C.

Bossierite Is Victim Of Suicide A Bossier City man committed suicide in Benton, jail Friday, where he was being held on suspicion of possession of marijuana, Saline County Sheriff Harold Smith said. Bennie W. LaCroix, 23, of 2602 Douglas, Bossier City, was found dead early Friday in the jail, the sheriff said.

County Coroner Sam Gibson and medical examiner Dr. Marvin Kirk ruled suicide by strangulation, the sheriff said. Seized when Mr. LaCroix was arrested, Smith said, was 53 pounds of a substance believed to be marijuana. Funeral services are pending at Boone Funeral Home, Bossier City.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eddie LaCroix of Bossier City; two brothers; Eddie Ray LaCroix and Steven LaCroix, both of Bossier City; and a sister, Glenda LaCroix of Bossier City. Mr. LaCroix was a Baptist.

Veteran Actor Otto Kruger Dies WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. (AP) Otto Kruger, the smooth-voiced actor who could play kindly fathers and oily villains with equal skill, died Friday on his 89th birthday. Death came at the Motion Picture and Television Hospital, which is supported by the film and television industry. Kruger had long served on the board of the hospital, which he entered in August after suffering a relapse from a stroke. He had suffered a series of small strokes since then, a hospital spokeswoman said.

DeBakey filed a $150,000 damage suit Friday against the publishers of Hustler Magazine alleging the magazine published an unauthorized interview and picture of the famed Houston heart surgeon.
