Assistant District Attorney Russell Davis said James T. Fulmer, 68, of Ringgold, pleaded guilty to manslaughter in connection with the shooting death of his wife, Ruby J. Fulmer, 68. The shooting occurred June 13 at the couple's house. Judge Robert Y.

Butler ordered a presentence investigation on Fulmer. A sentencing date was not set. Also entering guilty pleas were three Ruston men, who were arrested July 16 in Ruston after an Arcadia motel was robbed. Mural Bain, 26, Charles E. Miller, 22, and Ron Boudreau, 31, all pleaded guilty to armed robbery.

The men held up a motel clerk and robbed her of $625 in cash before fleeing by car east on Interstate 20. Bachelor of Science Susan Bradley and Richard B. McDonald, a 1964 chemical engineering graduate from Tech, said proceeds from the endowment are principally for minority students in chemical and mechanical engineering. Dr. H.L.
