camptTbank case solved BY 3 ARRESTS Taxi Driver Held Here lells of His Part in Crime Last Tuesday .... .. i n A taxi driver's confession of the part he played In aiding the escape of the bandit who robbed the Bank of Camptl last Tuesday morning led to the bank robber's arrest Thursday In Kansas City, Mo. With part of the $1,800 loot In his possession. Ellis W. Warner. 32, paroled Louisiana convict, was arrested arrested by two private detectives at the home of his mother In Kansas City. In the former convict's luggage were two pistols and $290 In half dollars while $130 paper money was found in his pockets, according to the United Press. Associates Held Here Warner was caught as he stepped out of a taxicab in Kansas City with a woman who said she was Beryl Kerns, 28, of Houston. Texas. The woman, who denied that she knew anything about the robbery. Is said by police to be Beryle Davis, a sister of Dorothy Davis, 22, and Estelle Davis, 20, both of Houston, Texas, who are in the Shreveport city Jail awaiting trial on Mann act charges.
